As a **Software System Test Engineer/Principal Systems Test Engineer,** you will be developing systems using current technologies and others yet to come. We are seeking team members who have a thirst for knowledge, approach each day with optimism, and have a relentless drive to solve complex problems. This position will be based in our **Colorado Springs** facility.

What you’ll get to do:
Perform end-to-end system testing, to include the development of step-by-step procedures to ensure requirement verification during formal system acceptance tests at site. Additionally, you'll support fault detection, fault isolation, and fault recovery efforts during system integration testing from the subsystem to the system level. During, and following, all related system integration and test efforts, you'll also support the aggregation and analysis of technical data while providing key inputs to final acceptance test reporting.
This requisition is contingent on program award. No relocation assistance is available for this role.
This requisition may be filled at a level 2 or 3 job grade based on the qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for a Systems Test Engineer (Level 2):
+ Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of experience
+ Active Secret clearance at time of application
+ Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS 50%
+ Must be able to obtain IATII certification within 45 days of hire
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Test Engineer (Level 3):
+ Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master’s degree; 0 years with a PhD
+ Active Secret clearance at time of application
+ Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS 50%
+ Must be able to obtain IATII certification within 45 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
+ IATII certification
Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00Salary Range 2: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
