    Responsibilities for an Education Supervisor

     

    + Supervise automotive faculty and monitor shop operations to ensure industry-standard practices

    + Recruit, select, orient, and train faculty with relevant automotive service experience

    + Develop staff professional growth opportunities that align with current industry trends and technologies

    + Manage faculty schedules and monitor absenteeism to maintain consistent shop operations

    + Provide excellent student service focused on real-world automotive skills and career readiness

    + Maintain inventory of automotive equipment, diagnostic tools, parts, and training materials to reflect current industry standards

     

    Requirements for an Education Supervisor

     

    + Associate degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent automotive service industry experience

    + 3+ years of hands-on automotive service experience in dealership, independent shop, or fleet maintenance environment

    + Knowledge of current automotive diagnostic equipment, repair procedures, and industry best practices

    + Experience with automotive parts inventory management and vendor relationships

    + ASE certifications preferred

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and automotive management software

    + 2+ years of teaching or training experience in automotive field, preferred

    + 1+ year(s) of automotive shop management or supervisory experience, preferred
