Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Process Engineer to support production and new product development in an innovative and dynamic environment. The role involves troubleshooting production and quality issues, modifying and automating equipment and processes to improve safety, consistency, availability, yield, and throughput. You will be responsible for analyzing data trends to proactively enhance performance and reduce variation, as well as educating operators through training and informal interactions.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot production and quality issues.

+ Modify and automate equipment and processes to improve safety, consistency, availability, yield, and throughput.

+ Analyze data proactively to improve performance or reduce variation.

+ Educate and elevate operators through training and informal interactions.

+ Support new product development by liaising closely with Sales and R&D personnel.

+ Assess equipment capabilities for new proposed products and modify as needed.

+ Lead R&D trials with the goal of creating a commercial process from the experience.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in process engineering and continuous improvement.

+ Proficiency in design, Solidworks, and automated machinery.

+ BS degree in engineering.

+ Minimum of 3 years exposure to process engineering in a continuous process manufacturing environment.

+ Hands-on experience operating and working on manufacturing equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in equipment modification, automation, and integration of vision systems.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a leading advanced material solutions company, focusing on protective materials for military and law enforcement applications. The position is 100% on-site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
