Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Hours

8am-4pm

Job Description

Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, packing, and picking to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize a windows-based warehouse system to route orders, look up locations, process sales orders, complete export documentation, create bills of lading, and navigate online portals.

+ Operate the Label Matrix system to create and print labels for multiple customers.

+ Schedule outbound freight by contacting trucking companies.

+ Adhere to all safety and health standards.

+ Participate in kaizen events to continuously improve work processes.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in receiving, packing, and picking.

+ Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

+ Basic knowledge of warehouse functions.

+ Ability to count and verify items picked or packed.

+ Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Windows-based warehouse system, AS400 systems, and Manhattan Scale.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Demonstrated knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition.

+ Ability to follow directions effectively.

+ Extensive knowledge of warehouse functions.

Work Environment

The work environment includes mild exposure to dust particles and weather elements. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are required during shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.87 - $18.87/hr.
