    Job Title: Assembly Technician

    Hours:

    5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday; $18.75 , 3:30pm-2am Monday-Thursday $20.25

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in a large manufacturing environment. This role requires proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly, as well as familiarity with blueprints and manuals. Ideal candidates will have at least six months of prior assembly experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize hand, power, and hydraulic tools efficiently.

    + Interpret and work with tape measures, understanding both metric and imperial units and conversions.

    + Follow work instructions, blueprints, or manuals to perform assembly tasks.

    + Participate in training across multiple areas as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months experience with hand, power, and hydraulic tools.

    + Proficiency in using tape measures with metric and imperial understanding.

    + Experience working with work instructions, blueprints, or manuals.

    + Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No high school diploma or GED required.

    + Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment requires metatarsal steel toes, safety glasses, and hearing protection, all of which are provided. The setting can be dark, musky, and dirty, with concrete floors where contractors stand for 75% of the time or more. Typical attire includes jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt, with shorts and sweatpants prohibited. Work hours are 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. First shift runs from 5am to 3:30pm, and second shift from 3:30pm to 2am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.25/hr.
