    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist who is experienced in setting up, operating, and editing programs on CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with Vertical Turning Centers and CNC Lathes, and the ability to perform editing on CNC programs using G and M codes.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC machinery efficiently.

    + Edit and program CNC coding using G and M codes as needed.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Machine parts to precise specifications using lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC programming and machining.

    + Experience with Vertical Turning Centers and CNC Lathes.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Familiarity with using calipers and micrometers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work on 1st or 2nd shift.

    Work Environment

     

    Candidates must be open to working shifts between 1, 2, and 3. Starting as a Machinist 1, the hourly rate is $34.37, with the potential to progress to a Machinist 4 earning close to $40. The work environment involves utilizing advanced technologies and equipment in a supportive union setting.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $71489.00 - $71489.00/yr.

     

    This is a Union environment that offers a high starting pay rate, and Four different health plans through Highmark. Dental and vision offered as well. 401k plan up to 5% match.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Turtle Creek,PA.
