    Release of Information Specialist – Contract-to-Hire

    Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

     

    $23–$25 per hour

    Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare data and patient privacy? We’re seeking a Release of Information (ROI) Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting a leading hospital in West Hollywood. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a clear path to long-term placement.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process release of information requests, including retrieving, scanning, and transmitting patient medical records.

    + Validate requests and authorizations in compliance with HIPAA and internal procedures.

    + Date-stamp and highlight incoming requests to streamline processing.

    + Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and internal teams.

    + Maintain accurate and confidential record storage systems.

    + Prioritize and fulfill requests from multiple sources within required timeframes.

    + Educate requesters on confidentiality and privacy regulations.

    • Required Qualifications

    + Minimum 3 years of ROI experience.

    + Hands-on experience with the ROI Navigator Module in EPIC is mandatory.

    + Strong understanding of HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    + High attention to detail with 95%+ data entry accuracy.

    + Proficiency with e-faxing and PDF tools.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
