CTG is seeking to fill a Process & Industrial Engineering Manager opening for our client in Whitsett, NC.
**Location:** Whitsett, NC
**Duration:** 12+ months, contract to hire
Duties:
+ Lead optimization of industrial and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety while reducing costs.
+ Supervise and mentor a team of industrial engineers, providing performance management and guidance.
+ Analyze current processes and systems using data analysis and process modeling to identify opportunities for improvement.
+ Develop and manage project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
+ Implement cost-reduction initiatives to minimize waste and improve operational performance.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across all operations.
+ Collaborate with internal departments to align on project execution and strategic goals.
+ Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team-driven process enhancements.
+ Prepare and manage budgets for engineering projects and ensure efficient resource utilization.
+ Support long-term strategic planning for the industrial engineering function.
Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and related tools/software.
+ Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
+ High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a collaborative approach.
+ Skilled in project management, including planning, execution, and resource coordination.
+ Proficiency in developing and managing project budgets.
+ Customer-focused mindset with experience supporting client-facing initiatives.
+ Innovative thinking with a track record of driving efficiency improvements.
+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple priorities.
Experience:
+ Proven experience in industrial/process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
+ Background in leading teams and managing large-scale projects with minimal supervision.
+ Demonstrated success in cost-reduction strategies, operational improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.
+ Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
