Program Director – IDD Services** **_(on-call)_
**Location:** South Austin, TX (6800 Westgate Blvd)
**Salary:** $50,000/year
About the Role
This role is primarily focused on **staffing, people management, and scheduling** , and requires a hands-on leader who is organized, compassionate, and responsive.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Leading and managing a team of direct support staff, including **hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management**
+ Ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts - **this includes being available on-call and stepping in to cover direct care shifts when gaps cannot be filled**
+ Overseeing the implementation of individualized, person-centered plans that support health, safety, and personal development
+ Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
+ Supporting a safe and welcoming physical environment for individuals served
+ Managing day-to-day program operations, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
What We’re Looking For
+ **Bachelor’s degree** and 2–3 years of experience in the Human Services field preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
+ Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to **manage schedules and prioritize staffing needs**
+ Comfort with an on-call rotation and a **willingness to provide direct care coverage when necessary**
+ Valid driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance
+ Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
+ A compassionate, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to quality care
