EMT Paramedic
The EMT Paramedic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with department specific personnel. The paramedic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy. Must also be able to participate in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

_Please note the following important details regarding this role:_
+ This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
+ Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled
+ Work Status Available:
+ Per Diem / On Call, Variable
+ Shifts Hours: This will be 12 or 24 hrs. shifts
+ Positions specified as **_“on call/per diem”_** refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.
Required Qualifications:
+ Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
+ Upon Hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems **-OR-** Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems
+ Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
+ Upon Hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
+ Upon Hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
+ 1 or more years of experience working in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 1 or more years of experience working in a Covenant Ambulance: experience in emergency medical services.
