    Chemours is seeking a **Senior** **Quality Specialist** to join our technology organization at the **Chemours Discovery Hub (CDH)** in **Newark, DE** .

     

    The **Senior Quality Specialist** role is critical to supporting our new product development activities in a variety of technology areas for R&D, application development, analytical, technical service and process development. The quality specialist has overall responsibility to provide quality leadership, guidance, and execution of our quality principles though established processes of continuous improvement within the Newark Area Sites Technology organization.

    Responsibilities:

    + Become a leader in selling the importance of quality and in determining how best to implement the standards in a way that aligns with our strategy.

    + Keeps up to date with and ensures compliance with Chemours standards, specifications, and best practices, industry codes and makes recommendations for their application.

    + Manage quality document control processes within IT tools, such as ETQ, SAP, etc.

    + Create and maintain processes for quality records to demonstrate effectiveness and compliance with QMS.

    + Ensure independent verification of quality compliance for samples sent to customers from CDH.

    + Prepare and present reports which identify trends and use these to develop action plans and recommendations to improve, control and measure compliance with QMS.

    + Develop and assist with all quality specific activities related to equipment maintenance management.

    + Ensure quality input at capital project design level assuring quality of equipment and data generation.

    + Serve as resource for R&D community (includes CDH, Experimental Station and Elkton sites) to support method and specification development including offering training, guidance, and direction on measurement traceability, calibration/verification, and measurement system analysis.

    + Ensure any action items/corrective actions from audits and quality investigations are completed, documented, and verified for effectiveness.

    + Lead and provide support to quality investigations and compliant management.

    + Organize and direct internal, external and customer audits, report audit findings and identify corrective actions.

    + Lead and coordinate the Quality Management System (QMS) under the guidelines of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 across the R&D organization; be responsible for its interpretation, implementation, improvement and advancement.

    The following is** **_required_** **for this role:

    + Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering, or related STEM fields.

    + 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing related roles.

    OR

    + Master’s degree in chemistry or engineering, or related STEM fields.

    + 1+ years' of experience in an R&D related role.

    AND

    + Knowledge of quality risk analysis tools.

    + Knowledge and clear interpretation of ISO 9001, IATF16949, etc. standards.

    + Strong values in safety awareness and execution.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence others.

    + Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas with a diverse team.

    + Ability to manage work and undertake multiple tasks simultaneously.

    The following is** **_preferred_** **for this role: 

    + Certified as ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949 lead auditor.

    + 5 or more years in a technology organization.

    + Experience with new product development.

    + Project management and problem-solving skills.

    + Basic product technical knowledge.

    Pay Range (in local currency):

    $93,184.00 - $145,600.00

    Chemours Level:

    25

    Annual Bonus Target:

    8%
