Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a General Helper / Welder:

+ Read and fabricate parts according to the drawing

+ Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

+ Examine work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications

+ Capable of working in Team setting as well as independently

+ Capable of working in a timely manner, meeting deadlines

+ Willingness to complete a variety of tasks as requested

+ Maintains accurate time-log of labor hours per work order through the use of Time MatrixAvailable shifts

+ Hand weld stainless steel items using both mig and tig welding techniques

+ Mig Welding Knowledge

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

+ Understand and carry out oral instructions

+ Read and carry out simple written instructions

+ Inspect, examine and observe for obvious product or equipment defects

+ Count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions

+ Use measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, weight scales, where reading is direct and obvious

+ Use measuring devices such as micrometers, calibrated steel tapes, calipers, etc

+ Use non-power head tools such as hammers, wrenches etc

+ Use power hand tools

+ Lift up to 50

+ Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time

+ Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to read and work from simple sketches and diagrams

+ Skill in the use and care of the tools and equipment common to the welding trade

+ Background check and drug screening required
