Faculty Positions in Finance
The Graduate School of Business at Stanford University seeks applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the field of finance. All ranks and relevant disciplines will be considered. Applicants should possess a strong research background and an interest in the study of finance, and the ability to teach courses in finance effectively in both MBA and PhD programs. Junior applicants should have or expect to complete a PhD by September 1, 2026.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor: $275,000 - $290,000
Associate Professor: $300,000 - $325,000
Full Professor: $365,000 - $485,000
Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good-faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
