Description:
Position Purpose
Saint Francis Hosptial and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a **Patient Representative /** **Receptionist** to join the Community Dental Clinic Team. This position performs a wide range of receptionist duties as initial representative of the Community Dental Center, who prepares and maintains patient records and appointments.
What you will do
+ Confirms patient appointments, retrieves and files patient records, prepares and maintains daily schedule, answers and screens heavy volume phone calls
+ Responsible for taking payments, assists in billing and oversees patient reception area.
+ Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits
+ Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are accurate
Minimum Qualifications
+ Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, additional clerical training preferred
+ Minimum one-year clerical experience in a dental office setting
+ Medical terminology skills
