Recruiter - SSO Core Human Resources Team - Remote
Summary:
SSO is a specialized staffing partner supporting public sector organizations, particularly within state and local health departments. As a Recruiter focused on public health roles, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and managing candidates across a wide array of health-related job openings for multiple government clients. You’ll balance speed, quality, and compliance while maintaining accurate data reporting and documentation. Exceptional organization and Excel proficiency are key as you’ll manage high volumes of requests across various contracts.
Specific Responsibilities:
+ Partner with client stakeholders to understand staffing priorities and ensure alignment with organizational goals
+ Manage high-volume requisitions and talent pipelines across multiple clients and contracts
+ Use Microsoft Excel to generate reports, manage applicant tracking data, update recruitment dashboards, and compile client-focused metrics and insights.
+ Develop scalable recruiting strategies using ATS databases, direct sourcing methods, and market insights
+ Identify opportunities to elevate SSO’s market visibility and position within the talent ecosystem
+ Representing the organization at recruitment events to promote employer branding and expand candidate outreach
+ Draft compelling job postings and advertising content across digital and print platforms
+ Source and recruit qualified candidates in accordance with client SLAs and KPIs
+ Assess applicant qualifications and ensure alignment with client-specific requirements
+ Conduct candidate screening and present top talent to hiring managers; facilitate feedback loops post-interview
+ Coordinate interviews and manage offer negotiations, reference checks, and background screenings
+ Oversee candidate interviews, placements, and onboarding documentation to ensure compliance and continuity
Required Skills & Experience:
+ At least 3 to 5 years of experience in talent sourcing and recruiting
+ Healthcare recruiting preferred
+ Experience in high-volume recruiting (>50 concurrent requisitions) preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel—pivot tables, dashboards, and large dataset management
+ Familiarity with Department of Health roles and related credentialing requirements preferred
+ Strong written and verbal presentation required
+ Familiarity with ATS/VMS systems (Dayforce preferred)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor
+ Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship including H-1B sponsorship) by SSO. Under the federal laws relating to the F-1 STEM EAD program, SSO may be able to support a STEM EAD extension application at the sole discretion of your Designated School Official.
