The Corporate Insurance Manager is responsible for supporting Danaher’s global insurance program. The Corporate Insurance Manager works closely with insurance brokers, risk management vendors, and colleagues worldwide to support global insurance placements, loss mitigation, contractual risk transfer, and claims management.
This position reports to Danaher’s Vice President, Insurance Risk Management. and is part of the Insurance Risk and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Use your specialized knowledge of property and casualty insurance to manage an effective process that provides timely and accurate exposure information for renewals and review of policy terms and conditions
+ Take a leadership role in property and casualty claims handling, which may include interaction with adjusters, internal and external counsel, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
+ Use effective communication and insurance knowledge to serve as a resource for internal and external stakeholders on complex risk management areas involving, but not limited to, contract reviews, certificates of insurance, and coverage questions
+ Manage various aspects of insurance spend including allocation methodology, premium tracking, claim processing, prepaid expenses and routinely communicating with Finance and Accounting
+ Demonstrate strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills by developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiencies and resolve complex issues
The successful candidate will possess the following:
+ Operate independently within own scope of responsibility, handling multiple activities with competing priorities and ability to anticipate issues, identify and implement solutions, and lead projects
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and information to a diverse audience through various formats, such as presentations, written proposals, reports and training sessions
+ Strong working knowledge of casualty claims management
+ Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, Word and PowerPoint
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a closely related field, along with 5+ years of experience in risk management or insurance—ideally within a corporate risk management environment.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel up to 10% of time
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Risk management designation(s) or working towards (e.g. CPCU, ARM)
+ Experience with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS)
+ Experience with M&A

The annual salary range for this role is $115,000-$140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
