Job Summary

- Safely moves furniture and equipment, while maintaining organization, cleanliness and up-to-date inventory of items stored in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Maintains organization and cleanliness of EVS warehouse.

+ Maintains organization and cleanliness of Moving Truck (completely empty cargo bay and clean weekly).

+ Maintains inventory of items stored in EVS warehouse using inventory control program on computer.

+ Safely moves furniture and equipment as requested by hospital departments.

+ Capable of lifting and maneuvering equipment and furniture, in excess of 100 lbs.

+ Perform tasks with proper procedure, PPE and body mechanics in all aspects of job.

+ Shares responsibility for keeping hand and power tools in good working order.

+ Flexible with work schedule, able to adjust hours and work weekends when needed.

+ Fill in for absences as necessary for waste and linen.

+ Ability to maintain a good rapport and communication with all levels of AnMed staff.

Minimum Requirements

+ Good communication skills.

+ Good physical health.

+ Ability to read and write.

+ Walking & standing 8 hours per day.

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Basic computer knowledge.

+ Valid SC Driver’s License.

+ MVR required.

+ Must pass physical for DOT certification.

+ Must be able to work with minimum supervision and work with all levels of staff.

+ Requires ability to lift and maneuver equipment and furniture.
