The Senior Manager, Process Innovation is a key member of the Associate Experience + Business Process (AX + BP) team, a core component of the Business Transformation Office (BTO). Reporting to the Director of BP, this role is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives that enhance and optimize the associate experience and business processes through data-driven insights, continuous improvement methodologies, innovation, and end-to-end process design.
This position will serve as a champion of transformation efforts, combining strong analytical skills, business process acumen, and facilitation expertise to create scalable and efficient experiences for associates and business functions. It plays a key role in enabling digital transformation, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving measurable impact through proactive problem solving and data creation capabilities. Responsibilities include providing expertise, central orchestration, and frameworks for business process work across the organization.
EXPERTISE:
+ For the enterprise, the Business Process team brings deep expertise in business process methodologies, industry best practices, and the latest tools and techniques.
+ This includes a strong emphasis on process improvement and structured problem solving, enabling teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
+ The team leverages data analytics to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and measure the impact of process changes. They manage enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and steward the business process hierarchy.
+ Through coaching and mentoring, they build enterprise-wide process proficiency and ensure modeling quality and consistency.
ORCHESTRATION:
+ The Business Process team orchestrates end-to-end process analysis, design, and continuous improvement across functional and geographic boundaries.
+ They lead collaborative workshops that integrate problem-solving frameworks and data-driven decision making to break down silos and foster an enterprise mindset.
+ By embedding analytics into the process lifecycle, the team ensures that improvements are measurable, associate-centric, and aligned with strategic goals.
+ Their focus on sustainable routines and the associate experience drives long-term value and operational excellence.
FRAMEWORKS:
+ The Business Process team partners with disciplines to document and analyze current and future state processes, ensuring alignment with the enterprise business process hierarchy.
+ They apply structured problem-solving methodologies and data analytics to identify inefficiencies, quantify opportunities, and prioritize improvements.
+ These frameworks serve as a foundation for innovation, enabling scalable and standardized solutions.
+ The team ensures all processes adhere to enterprise governance, supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
+ Education and Experience Required 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 6+ years of professional experience in business process design, analytics, or business transformation, showing progressive career growth and demonstrated results.
+ Proven ability to lead and deliver strategic initiatives in matrixed or cross-functional environments.
+ Preferred Experience working with business process mapping/modeling tools (e.g., Signavio, LeanIX, Visio).
+ Background in data analytics tools or platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx). Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
+ Prior consulting or hospitality industry experience.
+ Preferred Attributes, Skills, and Experience Strategic Data Mindset: Strong analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex data sets, create data models, and derive insights that inform process decisions and performance improvements.
+ Continuous Improvement Orientation: Demonstrated experience leading process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; driven by metrics, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
+ Advanced Facilitation & Communication: Skilled in leading workshops and translating technical/process language into clear narratives for stakeholders at all levels.
+ Collaboration & Influence: Strong relationship-building capabilities; thrives in a team-oriented, cross-functional setting.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
+ Process Design & Orchestration Support cross-functional workshops to design and document end-to-end business processes across departments with a focus on associate experience.
+ Ensure alignment of business processes with enterprise process hierarchy and governance.
+ Partner with functional and technical teams to define business rules and data models that support scalable automation and transformation.
+ Data Analysis & Insight Generation Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytic visualizations to support process health and performance tracking.
+ Partner with data teams to establish standardized metrics, ensure data integrity, and identify improvement opportunities.
+ Translate analytical findings into clear business cases and strategic recommendations.
+ Process Improvement & Innovation Identify and prioritize areas of inefficiency or value leakage across business processes.
+ Lead initiatives that streamline workflows, reduce complexity, and improve associate satisfaction.
+ Build reusable frameworks and templates to scale best practices across the organization. Center of Excellence (CoE)
+ Support Contribute to the evolution of the Business Process CoE by developing methods, tools, and playbooks for modeling, measurement, and optimization.
+ Coach and guide process owners and modelers to ensure quality and consistency in documentation and execution.
+ Additional Responsibilities Communicate with stakeholders and executives in a concise and data-supported manner.
+ Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
+ Continuously scan the external environment for process and technology trends to evolve internal capabilities.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and operational excellence.
The pay range for this position is $47.30 to $61.25 per hour.
**Washington Applicants Only:** Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
