Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Superintendent to support one of our CM clients to support a renovation and partially new construction manufacturing project in Central, NJ. This is a food manufacturing facility that is operational around 50-100K SQF across two single story buildings.

Develop and implement comprehensive project logistics plans to ensure efficiency throughout the construction lifecycle. Review and interpret project financial documentation to support budgeting and cost control effort. Analyze, recommend, and oversee techniques for building skin systems, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality. Manage all facets of the building process, including materials, workforce coordination, and construction sequencing. Maintain vertical and horizontal control on site to support precise construction and effective trade coordination. Collaborate with team members to create and maintain the overall project schedule. Prepare detailed look-ahead schedules for short-term planning and execution. Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to monitor schedule adherence and resolve site issues. Partner with the Project Manager to define and develop appropriate subcontractor scopes of work. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of the project team and external stakeholders. Delegate responsibilities strategically to optimize team performance and project outcome. Demonstrate proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and lead coordination efforts using digital tools. Develop and maintain a robust quality control program tailored to project-specific needs. Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Director to create and implement a site-specific safety plan. Support business development efforts by engaging in the planning and promotion of upcoming projects and client relationships

Skills and Requirements

10 years experience as a Super within a GMP environment

OSHA 30 certification

Super's License in NJ

Strong scheduling experience Food manufacturing experience null
