    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with advanced Excel capabilities and a strong foundation in data management, transformation, and visualization. The successful candidate will play a key role in aggregating, cleaning, and mining data from various sources to support business decisions and ensure data integrity.

    Responsibilities:

    * Consolidate and structure data from various formats (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, PDFs).

    * Extract, clean, and organize unstructured or incomplete data sources.

    * Perform advanced Excel-based data manipulation (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query; VBA a plus).

    * Identify and report data gaps or issues, including missing or inaccessible files.

    * Create clear visualizations and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

    * Document data structures, assumptions, and limitations.

    * Provide regular updates on progress and data-related challenges.

    Core Qualifications:

    * Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).

    * Experience in data cleaning, aggregation, and mining.

    * Ability to extract data from embedded and non-standard sources.

    * Familiarity with SQL or data query tools (preferred).

    * Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

    * Proficiency in data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

    * Eligible to work with export-controlled data

    Preferred Traits & Skills:

    * Basic data querying skills (SQL, Power Query, etc.).

    * Experience with unstructured business or operational data.

    * Ability to automate tasks (Excel macros, VBA, or scripting).

    * Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

     

    Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $29.00-$32.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
