Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Albany, Georgia. This role requires expertise in supporting legal processes, particularly within workers’ compensation defense, and involves tasks that are essential to case preparation and management. The ideal candidate will bring precision, organization, and strong legal knowledge to assist in delivering effective legal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Draft thorough and accurate discovery responses to support case strategies.

• Prepare detailed medical summaries to assist in case evaluation and decision-making.

• Create deposition summaries to highlight key information and insights.

• Organize and manage hearing preparations to ensure readiness for legal proceedings.

• Collaborate with attorneys to support trial preparation and documentation.

• Utilize case management software to maintain and track case-related information.

• Conduct legal research to support case arguments and strategies.

• Communicate effectively with legal teams to ensure smooth workflow and coordination. Requirements • Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in workers’ compensation or civil litigation.

• Proficiency in drafting discovery responses and legal documentation.

• Strong skills in trial preparation and hearing organization.

• Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.

• Ability to summarize medical records and depositions with accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures.
