Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will play a key part in managing high-volume transactions and ensuring accuracy in cash applications and billing processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process large volumes of weekly transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cash applications.

• Manage consolidated billing processes, handling invoices with multiple line items for enterprise-level clients.

• Apply cash uploads to Oracle NetSuite and maintain accurate records within the system.

• Reconcile lockbox payments and other forms of incoming cash, ensuring timely application.

• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain streamlined accounts receivable operations.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments or billing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Contribute to the development of efficient workflows and procedures for accounts receivable tasks.

• Handle high-volume cash applications with precision, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.

• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting for audit and compliance purposes.

• Support the team by providing insights and recommendations to improve overall efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, and billing processes.

• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite or similar accounting software systems.

• Strong understanding of high-volume transaction management and reconciliation.

• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with lockbox payment processing and consolidated billing methods.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.

• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
