Description

We are looking for a mailroom specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves supporting mailroom operations, document processing, and shipping/receiving tasks for both internal and external clients. As a fully on-site, long-term contract position, this opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate recipients.

• Scan, index, and categorize documents using various systems to maintain accurate records.

• Prepare and ship packages and freight, coordinating shipping requests as needed.

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments, handling invoices and purchase orders with precision.

• Maintain and operate mailroom equipment, including restocking supplies to ensure smooth operations.

• Organize and label scanned materials for proper storage and retention.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements.

• Adhere to quality, accuracy, and turnaround standards in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience in mailroom operations, shipping/receiving, or document processing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform on-site work.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Familiarity with document indexing systems or scanning equipment is preferred. TalentMatch®
