Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making processes. If you excel in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records by adhering to applicable reporting standards and regulations.
+ Collaborate with accounting teams to achieve month-end close processes and reporting deadlines.
+ Prepare financial forecasts, including profits, revenue, and expenses, while identifying risks and opportunities to support decision-making.
+ Develop and refine financial models to evaluate the potential outcomes of business strategies and initiatives under different scenarios.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce actionable financial reports for leadership teams.
+ Provide financial analysis and expertise to operational teams, improving margins and supporting sound fiscal decision-making.
+ Respond to management inquiries regarding financial performance and create ad hoc reports as needed.
+ Review contracts, track project costs and revenues, and manage change requests in partnership with financial leadership.
+ Support long-term financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management in collaboration with company leadership.
+ Contribute to interim and year-end financial audits, ensuring all financial data is accurate, reliable, and audit-ready.
Requirements
• Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and PowerPoint for financial presentations.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of data mining techniques to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial audit support.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
