Description We are looking for a dedicated Loan Servicing Support specialist to join our team in Meriden, Connecticut. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of loan servicing operations within the mortgage industry. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of balancing multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage loan servicing tasks, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Conduct research to identify discrepancies in loan data and implement appropriate resolutions.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and provide timely updates.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools to prepare detailed reports and analyze loan servicing data.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loan servicing processes.

• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations.

• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines.

• Apply creative problem-solving skills to address unique challenges within the loan servicing workflow.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies in all servicing activities. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or certification in paralegal studies, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably within the mortgage industry.

• Strong understanding of mortgage lending and loan servicing processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a solid grasp of other Office tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve outliers.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
