Description We are looking for an experienced Loan Closer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and compliant closing of single-family mortgage loans. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the accurate and timely closing of single-family mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare files for funding, prioritizing close of escrow deadlines.

• Prepare and issue Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and other required closing documents with precision.

• Manage the completion and accuracy of VA streamline, RD loans, and other specialized loan types for insuring purposes.

• Maintain excellent communication and relationships with lenders, brokers, Realtors, title companies, and other stakeholders.

• Address customer service needs promptly while adhering to all regulatory requirements throughout the loan closing process.

• Participate in individual and team training sessions to enhance skills and foster growth.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support the continuous improvement of departmental processes.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization and its objectives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage lending, processing, or closing, or equivalent experience in a Title Insurance company closing department.

• Strong knowledge of mortgage banking regulations, including familiarity with liens and other aspects of mortgage lending.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively correspond with stakeholders.

• Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under deadlines.

• Proficiency in computer systems and software for entering, accessing, and retrieving financial data.

• Demonstrated expertise in mortgage closing processes and tools such as Encompass.

• Customer service orientation with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
