    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This is a short-term Contract position within the non-profit industry, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your HR expertise in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth processes for onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    • Manage employee relations by addressing inquiries and providing support on HR-related matters.

    • Oversee the administration of background checks, ensuring timely and accurate results.

    • Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) with employee data and records.

    • Assist in organizing and maintaining HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

    • Support HR administration tasks such as scheduling interviews, preparing reports, and tracking employee performance.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

    • Monitor compliance with employment laws and workplace regulations.

    • Provide guidance and assistance to employees regarding HR processes and benefits.

    • Participate in HR-related projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

    Requirements • Proven experience in human resources administration and support roles.

     

    • Familiarity with HRIS systems and their functionalities.

    • Strong understanding of onboarding processes and employee relations.

    • Ability to conduct background checks with accuracy and confidentiality.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficient in Office tools and other relevant software.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
