Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Addison, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will play a key role in managing financial data and supporting various accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Perform job costing tasks to ensure proper allocation and tracking of expenses.

• Reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize Excel for data analysis, including creating pivot tables and performing VLOOKUP functions.

• Handle invoice processing with attention to detail and timeliness.

• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP.

• Familiarity with job costing and account reconciliation.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
