An exciting opportunity is now available in our Security Department. Our team takes great pride in providing a safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. As a Security Guard, you will contribute to this safe environment. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting staff with escalating situations involving patients and visitors by utilizing de-escalation methods, along with performing proactive monitoring of the facility and managing all security incidents on the premises.

Required Skills:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Security or police officer experience preferred

Annual influenza Vaccination or declination required

Position Details:

0.6 FTE (24 hours per week)

Weekend and holidays rotate
