    About this Role

     

    Power Engineering Services (PES), a Quanta Services company, is seeking anIT Coordinatorto join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist with hardware setup / configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement.

     

    The IT Coordinator will also be responsible for deploying build images and software to laptops and desktops using SCCM. This role involves providing end-user support, including moves, transfers, new hires, and interacting with VIP users.

     

    This position is located in Converse, TX.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Hardware setup / configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement.

    + Deploying build images and software using SCCM.

    + End-user support, including moves, transfers, new hires, and VIP users.

    + Printer support and installation, basic network connectivity troubleshooting.

    + Inventory management and asset commissioning / decommissioning.

    + Troubleshooting and performing break-fix issues for desktops, laptops, accessories, and mobile devices.

    + VPN connectivity / installations and IMAC software / hardware requests.

    + Assets management and telephony services support.

    + Antivirus management and Citrix installation troubleshooting.

    + Veeam backup knowledge or similar

    + Mobile device management (MDM) for IOS and android devices.

    + Utilization of tools such as Teams, SCCM, RDP, Active Directory, and Webex.

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; Minimum of High School Diploma OR GED equivalent

    + Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ or similar, are a plus but not required.

    + Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT coordination, IT support, or IT operations role preferred

    + Experience coordinating IT projects or initiatives with Proficiency using IT support tools such as Jira or similar ticketing systems

    + Experience with VPN connectivity, antivirus management, Citrix installation troubleshooting, application / database installation, backup tape management, mobile device management (MDM), and telephony services are beneficial.

    + Experience with desktop and mobile operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS/Android).

    + Basic understanding of networking concepts, cloud services, and SaaS tools

    + Familiarity with firewall configuration and security protocols.

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
