ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

* Each person, regardless of role or position is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality

* Responsible for all machine feeding operations on their shift/machine.

* Assist with make-readies.

* Perform quality checks on the product they produce and materials coming to their machine.

* Troubleshoot minor issues as they arise across entire press.

* Provide a clean/safe working environment to themselves and employees in their work area.

* Perform preventive maintenance and upkeep on production equipment.

* Keep department in specs within all 5S requirements.

* Work in a fast-paced environment. Can complete tasks in a timely manner to keep machine running.

* Assess upset conditions and react in a safe and appropriate way to correct condition.

* Report to management any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food packaging safety and quality.

* Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions to the best of your ability.

* Participate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, and training.

* Safely operate Motorized Pallet Jacks, Manual Pallet Jacks, and any other equipment trained and certified on.

* Other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

* GED/High School diploma required

* Ability to read materials to understand and apply content, such as instruction manuals, procedure manuals or assembly manuals
