    Position Overview

    Kemin Nutrisurance is seeking a talented and dedicated Operator for our manufacturing facility in Sarcoxie, Missouri. The successful candidate will be in charge of and responsible for blending, packaging and palletizing the full line of dry products (50-55lb paper bags, boxes, bulk bags) while maintaining all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards; ensuring that the quality of finished products is correct in appearance, specifications, and labeling. This position will work 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (Overtime on Fridays as needed).

    Responsibilities

    + Correctly sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.

    + Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

    + Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

    + Follow personal safety procedures.

    + Maintain housekeeping standards.

    + Operate forklift.

    + Maintain and inspect all packaging line equipment

    Qualifications

    + High School degree or equivalent.

    + Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.

    + Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.

    + The position requires excellent attendance, detailed in all aspects of the job, and a self-starter.

    + Ability to read, understand, follow manufacturing standard operating procedures and to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.

    + Effective written and oral communication skills.

    A post-offer background check and drug screen is required. Additional pre-employment requirements may be necessary based on position.
