    Position Summary:

    The Associate Director, HCP Marketing - will be a strategic leader responsible for modernizing how we engage healthcare professionals through data-driven, digitally enabled experiences. As a core member of the brand team, this individual will partner closely with the Omnichannel Strategy Team to translate brand objectives into integrated, high-impact HCP engagement plans. This role will oversee non-personal promotion (NPP), next-best action (NCM) execution, and modular content innovation-ensuring campaigns are personalized, optimized, and aligned to key customer segments. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, fluency in digital tools and AI, and a passion for driving transformational engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Partner with the Omnichannel Strategy Team to translate brand strategies into orchestrated HCP engagement plans

    + Partner with other HCP-facing channel leads (e.g., field, medical, training, peer-to-peer) to ensure integrated amplification of brand strategy across touchpoints

    + Ensure consistency of messaging and timing across personal and non-personal channels to maximize reach and impact

    + Oversee implementation of next-best action (NCM) and CE3 capabilities, ensuring relevance, precision, and field coordination

    + Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure data inputs, rules, and content libraries support effective orchestration

    + Continuously evaluate and optimize performance based on engagement data and customer behavior

    + Lead content development using modular and GenAI-powered frameworks to enhance agility and personalization

    + Identify and pilot innovative solutions that elevate HCP experience and improve marketing efficiency

    + Ensure all innovations adhere to compliance, legal, and regulatory standards while pushing the boundaries of what's possible

    + Collaborate across brand marketing, field teams, insights, training, medical, and digital operations to ensure end-to-end alignment

    + Represent omnichannel and innovation priorities within brand planning, performance reviews, and executive updates

    + Serve as a thought partner across teams to scale best practices and embed innovation into the commercial model

    Key Qualifications and Experience:

    + Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

    + 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with a strong focus on HCP engagement and digital execution

    + Proven track record of leading omnichannel or non-personal promotion initiatives with measurable business impact

    + Familiarity with next-best action, modular content, and GenAI applications in a commercial context

    + Strong strategic thinking, project leadership, and cross-functional influence skills

    + Experience in oncology, hematology, or specialty therapeutics preferred

     

    The starting compensation for this job is a range from $164,990 - $199,900 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

     

    The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

     

    Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

    BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

     

    Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
