Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by managing patient interactions and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Greet and check in and out patients with professionalism and care.

+ Answer phones efficiently and provide accurate information.

+ Schedule appointments to maintain an organized calendar.

+ Verify patient insurance information to ensure smooth billing processes.

Essential Skills

+ Strong customer service skills to provide an excellent patient experience.

+ Proficiency in front desk operations and administrative support.

+ Experience in insurance verification and appointment scheduling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Previous experience in a medical office is needed.

Work Environment

This position is based in busy optometrist offices. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 4:30pm. Candidates must be open to working at all three locations, which include Guilford,Waterford and Norwich

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
