The Senior Project Manager will lead key architectural projects, managing the design process from conceptual master plans through building design and construction. The role involves coordinating with various offices, collaborating with senior management, and ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will oversee architectural staff and provide leadership and guidance to ensure quality results.
Responsibilities
+ Schedule and oversee architectural staff to execute projects on-time and in-budget.
+ Coordinate with other offices on joint projects.
+ Collaborate with senior management and marketing to align design strategy with organizational vision.
+ Manage architectural design process and improve design strategy and processes.
+ Ensure project designers and architects adhere to policies and procedures.
+ Lead design assignments including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
+ Provide staffing, scheduling, and budgeting projections for architecture projects.
+ Oversee initial massing, site planning, space planning, and design concepts during master planning.
+ Manage work plans to deliver exceptional presentations and construction documents.
+ Review design specifications for quality control and conformity with project design concepts.
+ Evaluate progress of projects, performance, and design goals.
+ Engage with high-end private club clientele and other key stakeholders.
+ Offer leadership, guidance, and feedback to the project team to ensure quality results.
+ Maintain a strong presence in professional organizations such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
+ Assume overall responsibility for profit and loss of project work.
+ Help draft proposals and estimate project fees alongside the Firmwide Director of Architecture.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
+ Minimum of 10 years architectural experience, hospitality experience preferred.
+ Registered Architect / NCARB preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of building codes.
+ Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
+ Experience in preparation of architectural contract documents and specifications.
+ Strong visual communication skills including hand sketching, graphic diagrams, 3D modeling, and rendering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Conceptual/master planning skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Collaboration skills.
+ Organization skills.
+ Knowledge of graphic software tools such as Photoshop, Enscape, and SketchUp is desirable.
+ Experience in sustainable design / LEED is a plus.
Work Environment
The office environment is dynamic, with 40 employees located between Baltimore and Naples offices, with Baltimore serving as the main headquarters. The role involves traveling one night a month to visit clients and job sites across the US, focusing on private clubs, clubhouses, restaurants, and aquatic centers. The Baltimore office is brand new, located in the Baltimore Peninsula, and offers walking distance access to amenities across the street from Sagamore. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
Unlimited PTO scheduleHigh bonus structure
