Job Title: EHS LeadJob Description

Join our team as an EHS Lead in Grand Haven, where you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety and environmental programs. Your efforts will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while fostering a proactive safety culture. You will conduct risk assessments, lead safety training initiatives, manage incident investigations, and drive continuous improvements in workplace safety culture. Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to support our commitment to employee well-being and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

+ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and environmental programs.

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

+ Conduct risk assessments and manage incident investigations.

+ Lead safety training initiatives and drive continuous improvements in workplace safety culture.

+ Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to foster a proactive safety environment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in safety, EHS, health & safety, OSHA compliance, and safety training.

+ Proven experience in improving safety conditions and conducting OSHA audits.

+ Ability to transform risk situations effectively.

+ Experience in troubleshooting within EH&S, particularly in the food and beverage, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with ergonomic assessments.

+ Familiarity with 8D problem-solving methodology.

+ Hands-on approach to safety management.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a flexible 8-hour workday, 5 days a week. Employees work in a new facility alongside an older plant, fostering a sense of pride and low turnover. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $105.00/hr.
