    Job Description

    - Will manage and lead the R&D Engineering team

     

    - Drive the R&D Engineering team to achieve New Product Development (NPD) project deliverables, timelines, and launch requirements

     

    - Identify and evaluate new technologies and trends to drive innovation

     

    - Lead and contribute to the ideation of innovative products

     

    - Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and materials

     

    - Oversee the prototyping and testing phases of new product development

     

    - Communicate with suppliers, and industry experts

     

    - This is a hands-on management position that may require designing and developing parts and assemblies using SolidWorks

     

    Must Have

    - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required

    - 5+ years of experience in the packaging industry, with a focus on food and/or beverage. Will consider general machine and system design based on experience.

     

    - 5+ years of experience in New Product Development and phase/gate project management launches, with a proven track record in research and development of new products

     

    - Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards

     

    - Previous experience managing/leading a team

     

    - AutoCAD 3D experience, preferably SolidWorks

     

    Nice to Have

     

    - A Master's degree or higher

     

    - Experience with controls engineering and HMI/PLC programming using Allen Bradley Software or similar is a PLUS

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $108000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
