We are looking for a Sr. Process Automation Engineer to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in Beaumont, TX.

As a member of the Technical Service Support organization at Beaumont, you will deliver and maintain plant control systems to meet production requirements and safety obligations. You will work closely with Operations to optimize existing control schemes and develop new control strategies. As the process control subject matter expert for the Beaumont site, you will also support the site’s project team in both design and implementation.

As a Sr. Process Automation Engineer, you create chemistry by...

+ Leveraging your education and hands-on experience in process automation, you will provide expert support for the control systems as needed across the plant.

+ Utilizing your solid programming software knowledge will be essential as you work with various types of DCS, PLC, and SIS equipment and software (Honeywell, DeltaV, Allen Bradley, and Triconex) during your daily tasks.

+ Communicating effectively and being a strong team player will serve you well as you coordinate with operations to implement process improvements, troubleshoot, and conduct periodic health checks of installed base control systems, as well as provide guidance for upgrades and migrations.

+ Understanding plant-specific requirements and control systems will enable you to provide technical expertise for other systems and communication protocols used onsite.

+ Executing small- to medium-sized capital projects related to control systems (DCS, PLC, SPLC) will ensure the project and team meet milestones, strategically mitigate risks, solve problems, and increase value.

+ Guiding third-party process control engineers engaged in project support and maintenance support activities will utilize your leadership skills.

+ Seeking compliance with all environmental, safety, and health requirements using your knowledge of EHS will promote a safe working environment for project execution and daily tasks.

+ Collaborating for achievement and championing inclusion will ensure the application of best practices across peer groups.

If you...

+ Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering controls, automation, or a related technical field.

+ Possess 7+ years of experience in delivering and maintaining process automation and control systems.

+ Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferred.

+ Skills usingDCS, PLC, and SIS equipment and software (Honeywell, DeltaV, Allen Bradley, and Triconex), preferred.
