    Job Description:

    + Managing large scale projects from cradle to grave

    + Work with Engineering Admin to submit BOM into ERP

    + Work with Manufacturing team to bring Designs to life

    + Provide innovative design solutions for a wide variety of project types.

    + Creates new products and/or product enhancements to existing products (using Creo)

    + Delivers on the project objectives while coordinating designs with product marketing, customer service, production, supply chain, accounting and other engineers and departments.

    + Support production activities at the production manufacturing location.

    + Keep current with technical advancements and worldwide regulations / standards.

    + Ability to manage large scale projects

    MUST HAVES:

    + 5+ Years 3D cad modeling (Solidworks or Creo experience)

    + 3+ years engineering in manufacturing environment

    + Experience and success in working with manufacturing to implement sound designs that meet cost and ease of assemble targets.

    + Knowledge of design principles particularly related to large multicomponent assemblies

    + Engineering knowledge to evaluate test results to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. This role will work with testing and other engineering personnel to analyze and prepare design modifications as required.

    + Experience evaluating and solving design related issues that arise within manufacturing and/or production assembly.

    + Hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude

    + Thorough and consistent documentation habits paired with excellent organizational and management skills

    + Ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects in a team based manufacturing environment

    + Ability to communicate and break down project expectations to different teams

    NICE TO HAVES:

    + Bachelors Degree in Mechanical engineering or Mechanical Technology

    + CREO is ideal

    + New product development and large scale project experience

    + Sheet metal design experience

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $50.58/hr.
