Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

This labor-intensive position involves the production of coffee cherries. The role requires scaling, processing, and milling coffee beans, which are crucial post-harvest steps in coffee production. Applicants must be capable of lifting 100-pound bags of coffee cherries throughout the day. **_T_** **_his is not a harvesting or picking position but rather a labor position focused on production._**

Responsibilities

+ Ensure regular and timely attendance.

+ Grade coffee cherries with precision and maintain good eyesight.

+ Cultivate positive work relationships with local farmers and collaborate effectively with coworkers.

+ Safely handle sharp objects during production processes.

+ Complete tasks promptly and maintain a neat, clean workspace.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in production and labor tasks.

+ Experience with forklift operation and heavy lifting.

+ Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

+ Organizational skills to follow systematic methods for task completion.

+ Preferably one year of experience in coffee grading.

This is a Contract position based out of Captain Cook, Hawaii.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
