Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for preparing products by skid, crate, or box for shipment and processing routine shipping paperwork. You will maintain a clean and safe working environment through timely disposition and storage of materials, and support assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials.

Responsibilities

+ Safely remove and dispose of wood, plastic, metal, and other packaging materials according to standard procedures.

+ Work with SAP to update storage bin information and identify and locate materials.

+ Complete routine inspections of material handling equipment.

+ Operate turret truck forklifts, lifting into the air to pick orders.

+ Operate sit-down forklifts to move picked orders from racks to shipping.

+ Unload and load trucks via forklift each day.

+ Visually inspect parts and move to receiving parts staging.

+ Take scrap bins to the unloading area and transfer materials into the dumpster.

+ Unload trucks according to procedure and load trucks for outgoing shipments.

Essential Skills

+ Previous sit-down or stand-up forklift experience.

+ Comfortable with heights, as the role involves using very-narrow aisle forklifts.

+ Understanding that the position is versatile and not solely forklift-based.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous shipping/receiving experience.

+ Experience operating a turret truck forklift.

+ Familiarity with bill of lading and inventory paperwork.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90/hr.
