    Job Title: Assembly Technician

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling hydraulic pumps for various equipment sizes. Utilize hand and power tools to meticulously build pumps according to specifications, ensuring each component is precisely assembled. You will primarily focus on a specific pump throughout the day, but may also assist with other pump types as needed. Your attention to detail will be essential as you test completed products in testing cells to guarantee leak-free performance.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble hydraulic pumps using hand and power tools.

    + Follow specifications to ensure precise assembly.

    + Test completed pumps in testing cells for leaks.

    + Assist with assembling different types of pumps as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with pump assembly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous industrial experience.

    + Reliable transportation.

    + Willingness to learn and self-motivation.

    + Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.

    + Ability to cross-train across departments.

    + Knowledge of measuring tools and tape measure usage.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with first and second shifts available. The schedule runs from Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays if needed. Choose between the 1st shift from 6 AM to 4 PM or the 2nd shift from 8 PM to 6 AM, ensuring a work-life balance in a comfortable setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, Oklahoma.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
