    Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler

    Job Description

    Under general supervision, the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling components, which may include sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components, contributing to the completion of a variety of products. The assembler will adhere to safety, quality, and quantity standards while following directions and blueprints to meet product specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble components including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components.

    + Adhere to safety, quality, and quantity standards while following directions and blueprints.

    + Ensure good housekeeping and ergonomic practices.

    + Participate in cross-training and teamwork initiatives.

    + Speak up and address any safety and quality issues that arise.

    + Learn new processes, systems, and equipment.

    + Engage in teamwork and conflict resolution within a diverse setting.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

    + Proficiency in reading and understanding procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.

    + Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.

    + Attention to detail and ability to notice and address issues.

    + Capability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Experience in assembly, production, or medical device assembly.

    + Ability to meet physical demands including lifting/carrying 10-50 lbs frequently, with occasional lifting/carrying of 50-75 lbs.

    + Capability to perform prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as required.

    + Good hand-eye coordination and grasp ability.

    The work environment is a clean and organized medical device manufacturing facility. Assembly tasks are performed both sitting at a bench and standing to conduct quality checks and packaging. Employees are allowed to wear one earbud after training.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of REDMOND, WA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.
