Job Title: Order Picker

Job Description

This role involves operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and potentially a cherry picker, to select products from heights of 20-30 feet. The primary task is wrapping pallets and preparing them for shipment. This labor-intensive position requires prior forklift experience, as you will be moving, lifting, and refilling packages throughout the day. Additionally, you will break down pallets and load/unload trucks, assisting wherever needed.

Responsibilities

+ Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and potentially a cherry picker.

+ Wrap pallets and prepare them for shipment.

+ Break down pallets and refill packages/boxes.

+ Load and unload trucks.

+ Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Prior experience with sit-down/stand-up forklifts.

+ Experience in order picking and warehouse operations.

+ Proficiency in navigating computer systems for inventory tracking.

+ Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2-3 years of experience in order picking/warehouse roles.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and repeatedly lift 25 lbs.

+ Experience with SAP warehouse management tool.

Work Environment

This position is for the 2nd shift, running from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 10% shift differential. The work environment has a casual dress code requiring a shirt, long pants, and closed-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
