Job Title: Sitdown Forklift Operator
Job Description
As a Sitdown Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for driving a Toyota Diesel Forklift. This role involves working on either the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3pm, or the 2nd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 11:30pm. Your primary duties will include operating the sitdown forklift to handle steel and metal beams, pipes, and metal flats, ensuring they are safely picked up and placed on trucks.
Responsibilities
+ Operate a sitdown forklift throughout the day.
+ Retrieve steel, metal beams, pipes, and metal flats for loading onto trucks.
+ Ensure safe placement of orders on trucks.
+ Participate in order picking and material handling tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Prior experience operating a sitdown forklift.
+ Familiarity with working in a steel yard or lumber yard environment.
+ Proficiency in handling a variety of metal orders using a forklift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with warehouse operations and order pulling.

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate controlled warehouse, requiring steel toes and ear protection. You will work as part of a team of 30, with shifts either from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3pm, or Sunday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 11:30pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
