    Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    The primary role of a Forklift Operator is to operate industrial trucks or machinery in various settings such as warehouses, storage yards, factories, and construction sites. This position involves the safe operation of heavy machinery to efficiently move product loads throughout the facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely transport them within the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

    + Operate controls to drive vehicles and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.

    + Use levers and controls to operate lifting devices, such as forklifts and hoists, for loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking materials.

    + Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas.

    + Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and distribution techniques

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED preferred

    + Forklift operator’s license required

    + 0-2 years of manufacturing experience

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates on a shift schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The work environment involves the use of forklifts and other machinery, requiring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

    This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
