Job Title: General Labor / Construction Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on a newly started project in Lenoir, NC. As a General Labor / Construction Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks on a large job site, including carpentry, setting up barriers, erecting tents, moving materials, cleaning, and basic mechanical duties.

Responsibilities

+ Perform basic carpentry tasks.

+ Set up barriers and erect tents.

+ Transport materials and assist in cleanup of the job site.

+ Execute general labor tasks and assist leads.

+ Take direction and maintain a positive attitude.

+ Engage in sweeping, cleaning, and pressure washing as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor and construction.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read a tape measurer.

+ Basic carpentry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Construction experience is preferred.

+ Strong ability to take direction and maintain a positive attitude.

Work Environment

The work environment is a vast 200+ acre construction site where professionalism is paramount. You will work alongside the general contractor and subcontractors, with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 10-hour days, and occasional Saturdays. Representing us and our client, maintaining professionalism at all times is essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lenoir, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
