Job Title: Testing Technician
Job Description
As a Testing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the test department by preparing technical documentation, verifying materials and equipment, and conducting various testing processes. You will ensure the functionality of electrical assemblies and systems before they are distributed.
Responsibilities
+ Support other aspects of the test department within your realm of capability.
+ Prepare technical documentation for jobs coming to test.
+ Verify the bill of material and front view verification.
+ Key and install breakers, ground, and set up equipment.
+ Rig down test equipment after testing is complete.
+ Compile test documentation and send out to the appropriate department.
+ Perform DC, AC, and current testing.
+ Conduct all functional testing and complete requirements on Straight Emergency Systems.
+ Perform dielectric testing.
+ Upload SCADA system, PLC and Protective Relay programs, set up and address any communication devices.
+ Perform basic PLC/SCADA edits.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of production experience in wiring, assembly, and basic DC/AC knowledge.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and test design and execution.
+ Proficiency in PLC software and troubleshooting.
+ Strong understanding of electrical testing including high and low voltage.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, industry standards, and manufacturing procedures.
+ Good organizational skills and ability to establish priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Skilled in using Excel databases.
+ Experience in dealing with large control and circuit panels that power airports, hospitals, and schools.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility, Monday to Friday, with potential opportunities on Saturday. The first shift operates from 6am to 3:30pm, and training begins at 8am at our training center.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
