    Responsibilities

    The Associate Tech Project Manager is responsible for supporting project resources while coordinating and maintaining project information for their assigned initiatives. Project support includes, but is not limited to, project planning, execution, monitoring and closing of projects. The Associate Tech Project Manager will ensure all activities adhere to the IT Departments Project policies, standards, and methodologies.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

    Project Oversight

     

    + Facilitating the project intake process and gathering systems requirements

    + Assisting Tech Project Managers with task coordination and follow up, internal and external communications, vendor invoicing, schedule tracking, and project budget monitoring.

    + Working with IT teammates to define and manage best practices, standard project execution procedures, and IT templates and project documentation repositories.

    + Creating and maintaining project documentation including:

    + Communication plans

    + Training plans

    + Deployment plans

    + Business requirements

     

    Communication

     

    + Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively.

    + Participates or facilities regular status meetings with the project team.

    + Keeps the project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.

    + Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.

    + Identifies, resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

    + Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

     

    Customer Management & Business Partnership

     

    + Manages day-to-day customer and vendor interaction.

    + Sets and manages customer expectations.

    + Develops lasting relationships with teammates that foster customer ties.

    + Communicates effectively with customers and vendors to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

    + Builds a knowledge base of each customer’s business, organization, and objectives.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Experience working in Healthcare Information Technology department or company, 2-3 years.

    + Experience with Healthcare applications such as HST, Provation, Cerner, and Epic a plus.

    + Experience in executing portions of an IT project.

    + Familiar with project standards and methodologies.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with Executive audiences.

    + Experience with project management tools and software.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.

    + Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization; including staff, business stakeholders, and all levels of management.

    Education:

    + Bachelor's degree preferred.

     

    USD $75,000.00/Yr. USD $90,000.00/Yr.
