Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Weapons Development & Prototyping Division (E7), Research & Engineering Department (E) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-02 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-05 through GS-08; the NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-09/10. The FPL NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11/12. Responsibilities You will assist and perform financial functions to include processing transactions and preparing and presenting financial data. You will operate, maintain, and assist in modifying financial systems and use financial information to identify inconstancies and present findings to senior personnel for action. You will operate and maintain financial information in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. You will perform financial management functions to include preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial data and use financial information to recommend solutions to supervisors. You will operate and maintain financial information in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System at a Working Capital Fund (WCF) field activity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications TO QUALIFY FOR NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying financial management principles and utilizing financial systems (e.g., Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP]) to perform accounting, budget, or financial analysis for identification and resolution of financial discrepancies for an organization. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one year of which was at or equivalent to the NT-01 pay band (GS-01 through GS-04 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrates the ability to perform financial functions for gathering financial data or compiling reports for an organization. Education TO QUALIFY FOR NT-03: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: A master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR An LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled; OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-02: In lieu of general experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Completion of a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree; OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
